Da Ba Mian, also known as “Qian (fore; first part) Ba Mian”, is one of the training routine of the Eagleclaw family. “Da” refers to the spreading movements in the routine (compared with “Xiao Ba Mian”), allowing attack and defense at multiple directions. One of the thematic movement was to manage different directions on the same standing ground, which required good coordination of limbs and waist.
