Master Lam Wing Kit (Senior Full-time Chinese martial arts coach) Master Lam began teaching traditional Chinese martial arts (CMA) in the 1970s, focusing on the application of inherited martial arts. He currently serves as the director of the Hong Kong Chin Woo Athletic Association and the coach of the Eagle Claw Fanzi Class, as well as the head coach of the Chinese Martial Arts Club of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and the HKU Chinese Martial Arts Alumni Association. Master Lam has extensive experience in freehand and weapons boxing techniques originated from different CMA styles. He has studied Hung Jia with Master Han Kai, Eagle Claw Fanzi with Master Zhang Junting, Seven Star Praying Mantis with Master Zhao Zhimin, and Baguazhang with Master Sun Baogang. In order to broaden his knowledge, Master Lam has been studying and exchanging various martial arts with his peers. He once exchanged Shaolin, Eagle Claw Fanzi, Taiji, Liuhe Bafa and lion dance with the late head coach of Singapore Chin Woo Athletic Association, Mr. Xie Shengren. Art, Master Yuan Wenjie of Northern Praying Mantis, Master Ceng Dening of Xinyi Quan, Master Zhang Guotai of Dongjiang Dragon style ... and so on. Master Lam has also been teaching traditional Chinese health-preserving exercises and fitness martial arts in senior centers for more than 20 years. In view of the increasingly young people with urban diseases, Master Lam has also studied various martial arts internal strengthening skills and traditional Chinese health-preserving exercises, such as Baduanjin and Yijin Sutra, Xuan Gong Twenty Secrets, Wu Qin Xi, Iron Thread Quan, Arhat Kung, Dian Shi Gong, Tai Chi Kung etc. In addition to being a qualified internal and external styles martial arts referee of the Chinese Martial Arts Dragon and Lion Dance Association of Hong Kong, China, Master Lam also assisted the Hong Kong Chin Woo Athletic Association in preparing the "World Chin Woo Celebration of the 1997 Hong Kong Reunification" and the "World Chin Woo Martial Arts Seminar”. In the 1998 World Chin Woo Martial Arts Competition, Master Lam shouldered the responsibility of coaching the Hong Kong Chin Woo Athletic Association team. In order to ensure that there are successors to the traditional Chinese martial arts, Master Lam has been teaching different styless of traditional martial arts at the HKU Chinese Martial Arts Club since 1995. To promoting martial arts in the academic community, Master Lam has also taught at the Chinese Martial Arts Society of many universities and secondary schools, and has successively assisted the establishment of the HKU Chinese Martial Arts Alumni Association. Apart from assisting different societies in planning martial arts exhibitions and martial arts summer camps and giving lectures, Master Lam also set up traditional martial arts competitions, traditional martial arts level assessment examinations, and the ten basic Chinwoo routines level examinations.
